In The Beginning... It’s been 12 years since I came in from milking our cows, sat down at the sewing machine and created the first Towel Tote™. That year, we started using pre-dip in our barn. I thought the idea was great, but I had to run back and forth to a cart for towels and teat dippers. I knew there had to be a better way.
So, I created the Towel Tote™, which attaches to your waist and keeps towels and dip handy so your hands are free to carry milking units and prep cows. When other farmers learned how convenient the Totes were, they wanted them too, and Udder Tech was born.
Today, Udder Tech offers more than 35 products, all created with the goal of helping farmers do their jobs faster and easier while staying clean and dry. On our website you’ll find new products like our parlor pullover designed specifically to meet your needs.
The ideas for these new products, and improvements we have made to existing ones, come from our own experiences milking 60 cows, and from our customers who call in with suggestions. We love hearing from you and are always looking for ways to serve you better!

Our Family Grows Up With Udder Tech, Inc.
As Udder Tech has grown, so have our three kids. They were just 5, 8 and 10 years old when they got their first job: helping mom put buckles together. Soon they were lacing webbing through the buckles, packaging totes into bags and using the electric stapler!
They enjoyed taking orders - thanks to our customers, who were so patient with our new, young sales staff!
Their teenage years brought new responsibilities: stuffing brochures, loading the trailer and helping out at trade shows. Once they could drive, they joined my dad in taking materials to various locations for production and returning home with finished products. They have also been cooperative models – without modeling compensation!
As our family and business grew, we moved out of our mobile home and into a newer, bigger house. Our work area moved too – from our dining room table to the new, spacious basement. Then recently, Udder Tech branched out again, moving into a separate building on our farm and taking our kids along one more time. Now, in their late teens and 20s, we all think about the many learning experiences and happy memories we’ve had working together as a family to make our business grow.
